@michuki what kind of speeds do you average?

Hi Wash,

For the better part of this year i have been using the EVDO for my
office work. I dont consider myself a light user average usage is about
200mbps per day or more on others.

For consistency i would rate it on a 4/5 (that means i expect 4/5 times
to get the same service as i got every other day).

The only time i had to call CS was last week on Thursday when the issues
started. Once issues were resolved on Monday, From Tuesday am back to
about 5 - 7hrs of connectivity without disconnections.

Stability i would rate it 3.5/5. It was higher before last week - now am
re-evaluating it again.

For speeds i would rate it at a 4/5 - i get to do my conference calls
(skype, marratech, etc) without a problem. Its nice because if power
goes i still have about 3hrs left of uptime on the laptop battery).

They used to give public IPs - as a techie thats a 5/5 but with the new
upgrades they have gone back to double nat so thats 2/5 :(.

Customer Service - I have to give them credit for being on skunkworks so
they get a 3.5/5 since i havent had to use them and when i did they
owned up to issues being on their end.

YMMV, it will also depend on how many users you have on the network (am
a single user). The capacity requirements and location - i would tend to
think we are less than 10 users on the basestation i connect to - so not
largely resource constrained! :).

** So if you use the service with a modem you are likely to get into
tripple NAT and thats likely to break far too much for your liking.

But thats just my opinion.

Regards,

Michuki.
