Generally people globally have refused to pay for online newspapers-even people like time magazine are struggling. So the papers have to go after advertisers....im not sure kenyans(who generally are averse to paying even for legal music and movies) will break the global trend.

Anyway, some guys can always pay, and then share the login credentials with others. I suggest all those who have bought iPads to also go ahead and pay up the subscriptions, then share the login details - which I want to believe is not illegal. It's just "sharing":)
