philip's ryt... u should be getting 200-300ms latencies. call their
customer support...

check your hardware though... u router may be ish, and maybe someone
has been doing some major downloading on ur link, gobbling up most of
your available throughputs... in which case you would get huge
latencies and frequent timeouts [though, come to think of it,
bandwidth hogging would have also affected local pinging]

may be safcom just set up their bandwidth-manager incorrectly.
whichever the case, contact their customer support...

and try to be polite and patient with them... u dont want beef with
that customer-rep who's trying to help u
